Pirates and webcomics go back to ancient times...well, 1996 and the 28.8k modem which frankly is ancient.  In 2002, the Nekotime Talk Like A Pirate Day website first set sail under the conscripted labour of a squad of webcartoonists. The following year, after burying the survivors at sea, more willing volunteers were dragged screaming about the Nekotime Cutter.  After a brief mutiny and a lot of beer, the 2004 crew woke up bleary eyed and slightly dazed by the bright light of the midday sun, and found themselves once more on the HMAS TLAPD

Now, in 2005, the Nekotime crew find themselves on a desert island, with a single pistol, one shot, and enough webspace to cause trouble.
